Gerry Torsney is an experienced and accomplished Real Estate Professional, having garnered experience in the field in Ireland as far back as 1990, with his initial real estate experiences, buying and selling properties, buy to rent, investment properties, lettings etc. Following on from that he became a Licensed Realtor in the US in the State of Florida, and worked with the top brokerages of Keller Williams and EXP Realty. During those years in Florida Gerry qualified as a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and remains one of only 3,700 globally to have been afforded the highly acclaimed qualification and designation from the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

According to data from NAR, relative to the CIPS qualifications globally,  1,359,208 of those licensed agents are Realtors. So Gerry being one of 3,700 Globally not just in the US is quite an accomplishment. Actually it is 0.19 % of all US Real Estate Agents, globally with an estimate of there being 6 million Estate Agents Gerry Torsney within  0.06 %  globally.

Never to sit on ones laurels Gerry continued his extensive studies and holds further designations and accreditations from NAR and the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) with being awarded the ABR^® (Approved Buyers Representative), SRS (Seller Representative Specialist), SRES^® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) and C2EX (Commitment to Excellence)  from the National Association of REALTORS® which empowers REALTORS® to evaluate, enhance and showcase their highest levels of professionalism. He continues his Real Estate Studies at the time of posting this information.

With his wife Dolores they expanded their real estate business into Central America, with the opening of their office in Panamá City in 2019. The Panamá relocation was to follow as a springboard for more success with the now Team Torsney Global  being widely recognized, and without much effort was acquiring properties to sell in Panamá, Costa Rica, Belize, Barbados and Uruguay. Sales increased and in late 2020 despite the Pandemic, Team Torsney had properties for sale in 13 countries globally including newly added Spain, the UK and Hungary to the ever expanding geographical list. In September 2020 Team Torsney opened another International Office in Covent Garden in London with a branch office in Cambridgeshire opened, and the company continues to enjoy exponential and sustained growth, particularly having been appointed as a agent for New Zealand’s top developer, offering for sale both commercial and residential properties in NZ.

Gerry Torsney is married to Dolores since 1986 and they have 5 adult children. For relaxation time he likes to spend it with Dolores and travel extensively, though same is restricted somewhat with a busy work schedule. Thankfully with Global offices he gets to travel regularly to visit his agents in other countries.
